Board Member Bios:

John M. Arendt, Sr., President, WBWM

John was born in 1943 to Samuel Edward and Mary Alida Arendt. His father graduated from Princeton University in 1927 and became a pastor in the Bible Presbyterian Church. John graduated from Lake Lehman High School, attended Tennessee Temple College, then married Carol Brandon in 1962.  In God’s providence he started a printing business in 1963.  It wasn’t until 1967, however, that John came to faith in Christ (at a church started by his father). He stayed in printing as an owner or partner from 1963 to 1992.  John is currently employed by The P.A. Hutchison Co, is a member of Covenant Reformed Church in Carbondale, PA, and has 15 years of mission board experience.  The Lord has blessed John and Carol with five children and 13 grandchildren.

David Boyer, Vice President, WBWM

David came to faith in Jesus Christ at an early age through the guidance of his parents. He served as an elder in the church where he grew up and met his wife, Carol. David and Carol have been married 38 years, and have two children, Amy and David Jr., and three grandchildren.  David is the owner of Boyer Custom Homes, a residential construction business. He and Carol are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, PA.

S. George Mall, Treasurer, WBWM

George was born in Pakistan , immigrated to the USA, and became a citizen in 1994. Although born into a Christian family, he has grown in his faith since coming to the USA. George and Anita have been married 17 years, and have four children: Jonathan (16), Rachel (12), Nathan (10) and Abigail (6).  His parents, George and Bimla, also live with the family. George holds a degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and International Business. He is currently employed by MetLife and is an elder at Covenant Reformed Church in Carbondale, PA. George has five years of mission board experience.

Dana Ormerod, Recording Secretary, WBWM

Dana grew up in Baltimore, Maryland as a Roman Catholic.  By the time he was 18, he had dropped out of high school, was living as a rebel, and was deeply enslaved by a sinful life. However, at the age of 20, he began reading the Bible daily. While reading in John’s Gospel, he was moved by the person of Christ and, at the same time, his own sinfulness.  After he confessed his sin to God, Christ became his Saviour and Lord. Dana and Amy have been married 30 years and have three children: Daniele (28), Nate (24), and Josh (15). He holds two college degrees and is employed by the DuPont Company, Wilmington, DE, as a project manager.

Donald Springer, Member at Large, WBWM

It has been his joy to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ as long as he can remember.  He is a descendent of Bible-believing Christians who lived in New Jersey from Colonial times.  His mother had an especially strong influence on his life.  She played piano and sang on a program called The 20th Century Reformation Hour for many years. Don and Marilyn have been married 26 years and have 8 children and 30 grandchildren. He serves as Elder Emeritus at Covenant Presbyterian Church, a PCA church just north of Cape May, NJ and works as a real estate appraiser in southern New Jersey. Don has 15 years of mission board experience.
